| Programs
An important component to the Center for Government’s mission is enhancing individuals’ skills and organizational functioning within the State of Alabama. To promote this objective the Center focuses on identifying best practices within the field, developing effective leaders, and providing state and local officials with accurate and meaningful policy research. In addition, the Center also dedicates staff towards community outreach opportunities to help governmental and non-profit organizations with limited resources. These outreach activities are accomplished through the following four programs:
